PERSONAL TRAINING

Personal training will help keep you accountable. One of the most challenging parts about going to the gym can be just that — making yourself go, doing the workouts, and doing them consistently. I will create a workout plan tailored to suit you and ensure you stick with it to get the results you want.

GROUP TRAINING

Why not workout with a friend? While we always recommend personal training, as this is more time focused on you, group training can be a more cost effective way to get expert advice and still get many of the benefits.

It can seem intimidating to exercise in front of others at first, but this is arguably the biggest benefit of group training.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do I get started?
    You can book in for a free consultation by following the link 'Book a Consultation' below. After the consultation, if your happy to move forward, you can purchase a fitness plan that suits you on the 'Pricing and Plans' page. You can then book in your training sessions on the 'Services' page at the date and time you prefer.
  • How long will the consultation take? What should I expect?
    The initial consultation will take an hour. We will spend half an hour having a conversation surrounding your fitness goals and any medical issues. This will also include some more general questions such as sleeping habits, normal amount of daily exercise and stress levels. The second half of the consultation will focus on body composition stats and fitness test, so please bring adequate gym wear.
  • Do I need to be physically fit before I sign up to personal training?
    Absolutely not. Personal training is a personalised experience. You can start at any fitness level, this service is for everyone including people who have never been to the gym to regular gym goers.
  • Do I need a gym membership?
    No! You do not need a gym membership to be able to use the gym for personal training sessions.
  • How long are the personal/group training sessions?
    Personal and group training sessions are 1 hour long.
  • How do I reschedule or cancel an appointment/session?
    You are able to reschedule and cancel appointments and/or training sessions if you log in to your account and go to 'My Bookings'. Please provided 24 hours notice if you do need to reschedule or cancel.
  • Will I get a refund if I cancel my appointment/training session?
    Yes, as long as you provide 24 hours notice before cancelling, you will be able to reschedule at no extra cost or receive a refund for that appointment/session. However, if you cancel without providing 24 hours notice the session is non-refundable.
  • Am I able to start training if I have a medical or health issue?
    Yes, unless a medical professional has advised otherwise, you should be fine to start your training. Please ensure you have spoken to a medical professional before your consultation if you are injured or unwell as we may request that you provide written information from your health provider to assist us in providing you with ongoing safe levels of activity.
  • Will I be charged if I'm late for an appointment/training session?
    Yes, you will be charged at the full session rate if you are late and your session will still end at the scheduled time. However, we will always try to make up the time if there is availability afterwards to continue as we understand that being late not always avoidable with work/traffic etc. Unfortunately, if you're more than 30 minutes late, the session will be cancelled and you will still be charged. No shows will also be charged for at the normal session rate.
  • What happened if I'm injured or become ill for a long period of time?
    You will need to seek professional medical guidance on if it is safe for you to start or continue training. You have three months to reschedule/book in your training sessions, however, if you are unable to continue training due to medical reasons we can extend this depending on availability or a refund may be available for the remaining sessions. To request a full or part refund due to medical issues please provide a letter from your GP clearly stating exercise restrictions.
  • Where can I access my files?
    You can access your files through your account. If it is your first time accessing your files you'll need to log in and go to My Account > My Files > File Library. All of your files will be under your name. You can add the folders/files to your favourites by clicking on the star icon next to your name so that they are accessible under the your account > My Files > My Favourites for quick access in future. Please note, your profile will have to be set to public for us to share files with you but no one else will be able to access your profile or files without your log in details.
  • What is the difference between a subscription and personal training packs?
    The personal training subscriptions are billed monthly and you'll get a different amount of training sessions depending on the subscription you purchase. As this is a recurring service you will receive a £2 discount on each training session. To help you achieve the best results, our subscriptions have a minimum term of 3 months. Please be aware that, with regards to our subscription service, any unused personal training sessions will not be carried over to the following month. For any questions or to cancel the subscription, please contact our team. The personal training packs are one off purchases which you are able to cancel at any time through your account. Again, you'll get a different amount of training sessions depending on the personal training pack you purchase.
  • How do I cancel my personal training subscription?
    You are able to cancel your subscription plan by logging in to your account and go to 'My Subscriptions'. Please note, to help you achieve the best results, our subscriptions have a minimum term of 3 months. We believe consistency is key to progress in your fitness journey. If unforeseen circumstances arise, we offer flexibility within the subscription period but ask for notice before the end of the current term. For any questions, please email Oli.Fit@outlook.com.
